none, but advantages are different from motives tho. there has to be a few characters who would rather stuff got sunk but everyone is siding with demeter and joining up with gods who keep them captive as though they're besties all of a sudden

most of them would tell them to go to hell

how do you know "everyone" is siding with demeter? the mods asked us to PM/email them if we wanted to be on the other side. are you a mod?

That miiiiight have something to do with wanting to get rid of the giant sea monster.

I do know of one character that has applied to go double agent, but I'm not sure how you'd figure out the actual number of who has when people who want to side with Poseidon are supposed to PM the mods. If I read that right anyway.

There is literally no incentive to side with Posiden for any of my characters. Maybe if Posiden made a post that said you could all live underwater without any collars, maybe they'd be inclined to agree. Otherwise I don't think there was much of a choice in what side to pick.

Doesn't Demeter's island supply the majority of the food for Atia??

If the outcome is THAT ISLAND SINKS, I'd fucking side against Poseidon too, regardless of how much I hated the other gods.
