i used to joke about it, because i thought nobody would possibly take murderfamily seriously. i mean, hannibal's obviously playing abigail like a fiddle, and your choice of mother figure is either alana, who's completely in the dark, or will, who's fucking nuts (not to put too fine a point on it). abigail's no saint either, and i think she's manipulating at least alana and probably trying to work over hannibal, to a degree, but family? these people?
and then i remembered tumblr, who made superfamily a thing. i don't joke about murderfamily any more.
