some people have no lives? there's a girl on my timeline I finally kicked off because she'd plurk every 5-10 minutes about something. this was constant not a oh by the way...thing, every 10 minutes or so there would be a new plurk about whatever she just thought up

How weird. Someone using a social networking site like a networking site.

there is a difference between being social and reporting every single thought/action you have in an hour

i have a friend who uses facebook like this. every time i look at my newsfeed there's at least three updates from her. sometimes over half my feed is her. she seriously updates her status or shares links more than most tumblr users, and there's no super easy reblog feature as far as i know.

i'm really lucky that i only check facebook two or three times a day and don't leave it open. otherwise she'd drive me out of my fucking head, and i have enough friends on my page that one person hogging the newsfeed is really impressive.

that's obnoxious even by social networking standards. there's no reason to share every single random thought with everyone you know. i'd get tired of that level of contact even from my best friend or my roommate.

Character A is so cute.

I love A's interactions w/ B.

Let the dog out for a shit.

Have to feed the dog now that he's back in.

Why does A and B just break my heart?

Oh dog needs out again.

This is what I was talking about. And seriously in a 30 minute time frame this is what you'd get.

Plurk is pretty close to being exactly like Twitter. What's your point?
