maybe it's my own personal experience with irl stuff that's making that bug me, but 'bringing it on herself' is a pretty crappy expression. she may be a shitty player or person, but people can choose not to be assholes in reaction to her. the best response to someone like that is to just ignore them, in game and ooc.

im honestly confused by what you are trying to say here. so shes supposed to change and not be an asshole, but she shouldn't app anywhere or do anything to SHOW shes not an asshole?

its not like theres a magical certification test that issues you a "not an asshole" license. At some point she has to be allowed to get to the point of actually being in the game before being written off as unchanged.

she basically said IN HER INTRO POST (which is deleted now) that she didn't have time for the game. and yet she apped anyway. the crit she received after posting that basically told her to not app in KNOWING she had no time to play the character.

with regards to the RP environment, crit that is designed with the purposes of just insulting another person isn't valid crit, regardless of how true it may be. there are ways to settle your differences with a person that don't involve shit like that which inevitably creates threads like this.

It's not really a big deal. Just roll your eyes and move on with your life. If it happens a second time maybe but it was probably just a stupid troll or grudgewank. The fact that she made a huge ass deal about it is the real issue here.

but she didn't? i don't know if she did on plurk or not, but all she did was cite the reason she left. granted it was a little unnecessary, but given that someone pmd her in the first place with that, i think it evens out.

my advice to you, asgardians, if you don't want your game to look bad on wankgate:

1) don't comment to wankgate

2) if you have to comment to wankgate, don't out yourself as a member of the game

because as you can clearly see people here will take any little thing and blow it up to ridiculous proportions, and take neutral, thought-out comments and twist their words around. wankgate is just not a place where you can win.
