An Asgard player. Mods should hear if a player gets harassed out of the game, and they notified them. It's not even emotional. They just cut their losses.

no, an angry flounce would have been making a huge dramatic post about it in the ooc comm. quietly posting to the drop post with an explanation for the drop and a statement that they don't feel comfortable playing there after that is not an angry flounce.

HOWEVER that? Is a pretty reasonable response from anyone getting that message. Just because skyla is not a reasonable person, apparently, doesn't mean this one particular response wasn't entirely called for.

If the person who sent the PM had that much of an issue with the player in question, they should've gone to the mods, preferably before the player was even accepted.

Skyla is infamous for this type of over the top reaction. A sane player would just take it privately to the mods because shit like this causes a wankstorm no matter what but Skyla thrives for the attention and the buttpats so she does this shit all the time. This is her reaction to everything.

Trust me you could've sent her a PM saying "I'd love to play with you but I have some problems with your characterization [polite crit goes here]" and you would've received the exact same reaction I shit you not. Trust me I've received it before! The fact that she doesn't have an HMD and refuses to post one (because of the fall out of her explosive reaction to construct criticism in the past) should tell you something.

I'm...not really trying to defend anyone. I couldn't care less if I make this better or worse for anyone. I'm just saying that calling THAT over the top, or even a hissy fit, is kind of laughable given the kind of pathetic, plea for attention drop posts that are all over DWRP on a daily basis.

that is not a hissy fit. that was a statement of her not appreciating that sort of behavior.

let's just say for argument's sake that she hadn't put that in. then someone, likely her grudgetroll, would have pointed out what a flaky flake she was by joining and then dropping before even playing.

then more things would have been pulled out about how this was typical skyla behavior. so now we know the reason behind the drop. she's not being a flake, she feels like she just joined a game where someone really doesn't want her playing. a hissy fit would have been longer, more accusatory, gone into paranoid suppositions about who it could be, and end with dramatic flouncing. you want a hissy fit? go see kally.
