canonblind here. the only knowledge i have of the kamui is from a short gif i saw where the girl's school uniform turned into a monster, swallowed her whole and chewed her up, and spat her back out with less clothes than before. and then she goes to play tennis, or something. anyway other than the skimpy clothes it seemed more monstrous than sexual. what's this about sexual violation and the uniforms being actual characters?
the suits are actual characters with personality and dialog. the first time the suit binds to the character, it does so in a very obviously sexual way meant to conjure up images of public sexual assault as a form of titillation to the audience.
really, if you're canonblind, though, you probably shouldn't be participating in this discussion, to be entirely honest.
eh, i was just wondering what the whole suit thing was about, since i never got a clear answer. plus i've been thinking about putting the show on my watchlist but now i'm reconsidering. like gratuitous t&a and freaky monster suits are things i can handle, but rapey fanservice? not so much
