to be fair, being trans really fucking sucks in current society and that's why there's a much much higher rate of depression and suicide etc with trans people, so if there's a general pattern that does make sense in a way and i don't think it's fair to mock people for not being able to take care of themselves because of depression/anxiety/whatever
but in this case it's less about ry's inability to cope with adult life and more their inability to stop draining other peoples' money.
well people keep enabling them, so why should they stop? seriously, if people would stop giving ry money every time they throw a pity party they would eventually have to grow up.
This is exactly why I keep debating on deleting my plurk. It's devolved into whining about triggers and special snowflakes issues instead of being used for fucking RP. Ry is just one example of this ridiculous enabling trend.
That has nothing to do with plurk itself and a lot to do with current fandom/rp culture. It's a problem on Tumblr, it was a problem on LJ 5+ years ago. You want less OOC exposure to people who are shit nuts. Unfollow them.
