no idea what OP's situation is but did you ever think that maybe some people like to keep their facebook to family and RL friends and would then share things on other social media sites selectively because they don't want their plurk friends seeing embarrassing family facebook drama etc
either way, you realize this is as dumb as saying "well i wasn't with you during your little get together so how dare you tell me about what happened during it, I don't want to hear about your life outside of what pertains to me"
like seriously it just happened in a different place and they're sharing it because they thought it was notable.
No, but if they told me about what happened during their family gathering, and during their dinner, and during their dog taking a shit, and during everything else they ever did, it would get annoying after a while, which is what I think OP is getting at. Not just the occasional sharing of something funny, or some topic they want to discuss in both places, or something that happened in one place that they want to discuss in another.
It's just a different flavor of how people on plurk like to overshare. I had someone on my timeline that I finally had to remove because they made a new plurk every time some small-time webcomic artist responded to their tweets. It wasn't even anything worth discussing, just banal things like "When is the next page?" "Tomorrow."
