the fact that you rejected their attempt to readd you is probably the key here. in other situations like this, if they hadn't tried to readd you, i'd think that you were being pa.
you can't have it both ways. you are socially rejecting this person within the context of rp, period. they will probably wonder what they did (from their point of view, they like you and are trying to be friendly, and are trying to show you their interest in being friends with you). you're probably going to hurt their feelings, and they're probably going to have bad feelings towards you because of it. so you can have your space free of this person who annoys you, or you can try to avoid hurting their feelings (which they'll get over, if it happens), but you can't do both.
