i'd assume that he'd be a completely new slate, obviously wouldn't recognize misaki as his mother, etc. then if he sleeps with her, he wouldn't be oedipus-ing, he'd be completely naive to the truth.
Except that he probably would? How many people wouldn't be able to recognise their parents when they're in their teens, especially seeing as Masaki is in high school and it's implied that she hooked up with Isshin fairly soon afterwards. He took her last name when they married so it's not even a case of 'hey, you've got the same first name as my mother, that's cool', she has the exact same name. She doesn't look that different and Ichigo sees her face literally every day- his father has a huge poster of her in their kitchen. And even then, when you look at Masaki and you look at his little sister, Yuzu is pretty much the spitting image of her. I would say it's a serious stretch to have Ichigo not twig who she is, he's a smart guy. And even then, he's not the sort of person who'd sleep with someone without getting a name out of them first, and that would set some alarm bells ringing.
But hey, I am with you 100% on it being skeevy and ooc for Masaki to keep pursuing him.
it'd be skeevy anywhere else but what does it matter in Ariel? there's mind control chips altering their behaviour and Masaki's been in the game for three or two years now
