op's being kind of a pissbaby about it but that does seem like something they should have mentioned at the february check in instead of when AC went up, like how hard would it have been to add a 'btw next month there's no strikes' to that post? not very.
strikes have been allowable by ac rules every other month so it's a huge dick move to suddenly disallow them with no prior notice. it's not disallowing strikes i disagree with. it's the lack of prior notice.
the only way you could have failed this check is if you haven't been playing at all these last two months
strikes are for unexpected/emergency business, which the mods said you could discuss with them. if you've just been slacking off because you thought you could fall back on a strike, i have no sympathy for you.
Wrong. Even if you were all over the place active in February only one proof counts. If people flaked before your threads reached AC length or something came up you are screwed. Talking to the mods won't do shit when they already said no strikes this month.
But whatever. When they implement other rules without notice and start retroactively punishing people for operating under the rules they were familiar with all month, you can content yourself with knowing only the people who deserve it or who you don't like are in trouble!
