you're kidding, right? two of the biggest pairings i can think of are harry/snape and hermione/snape (outside of harry/draco). and yet still, no one really batted an eye.

Also I think you're forgetting that the LJ Strikethrough was partly caused by rioting over pedo Harry Potter stuff. It's always been kinda wanky.
