it's not just you, it feels really forced and unnatural to me too
interestingly, this is supposedly a trademark of people with antisocial personality disorders: they don't actually feel emotions the same way the rest of us do, so whenever they have to pretend to be feeling some particularly heavy emotion it always comes off as unnatural
not a smoking gun but it is interesting in light of what we already know about kevin
