why would you need to 'test a game' if you're already writing/written up an app for it? both ic and ooc people can play in tdms, both ic and ooc people can decide that they like the game's premise for what it is and not tag into a tdm. it's okay, really.
except not, because hand flappers like you guys apparently can't handle the thought of people apping straight into a game. /shrug
It would never occur to me to write things in a TDM unless it were actually written in the app. And the few times I've been in a game and responded to people in TDMs, the CR in the TDM was significantly better than the CR that came when they eventually joined in. Sounds like they work for some people, but my experience is people try to write something different than what was in the TDM so they're not rewriting, and it's just forced once they're in game. Not worth it to me.
