suddenly she's played by someone that doesn't shut up about alien wingwang and look at how fast erin is moving with pilot. the guy she spent years obsessing over leaves cdc permanently and it's a single sad post then back to pilot cuddling and sharing rovers

garrett's player was a flaky twat but you can't just bin huge bits of your character's personality because it gets in the way of your ooc shipping

isn't this the second time someone's lost it over shipping a character with pilot? chill, anon. or at least focus your temper on pilot who has done this before and not erin who is canonically starved for affection and attention.

the plurks talking about shipping them were obviously joking anyway. or did i miss the passionate xeno lovefest somewhere?

not the most familiar with Pilot, but I thought it was IC for them to be fairly affectionate with people? obviously OCs are harder to gage than canon characters and I'm not too familiar with the character's previous relationships in game or how they've been handled, but if their app of the rest of their playing don't suggest they should be handling things otherwise then I don't see a problem (if they are being contradictory for whatever reason then please do share, as I said I simply haven't noticed any cause for criticism myself).

the weird pilot fixation seems driven more by ooc shinies and i'm annoyed by erin up and disregarding garrett completely, but the player is really nice and makes an effort to tag out. i can take some questionable ic behavior over another obsessively ic flake.

OK this is officially grudgewanky as fuck.

I was with her in Asgard too and barely noticed she was around but in CDC she's very active and approachable. CDC's structure is incredibly different from asgard's not to mention that Asgard got fucking boring by the end. If a cliquey flake can clean up their act what's wrong with that?

Wankgate does nothing but complain about these people you'd think you'd fucking relax if someone turned themselves around.

Kyah falling out of her favor is news to me since I'm pretty sure they still talk regularly and I don't really think you can crit her for having Erin get over her Garrett obsession pretty quickly since he was barely even around even before Kyah dropped him. Look at the threads they have together anon, Kyah dropped all of them and they're all pretty short. They way she's moving on seems pretty IC to me.

for me, i think some concessions can be made to make gameplay easier. like, i don't imagine rping your character so hung up on a dropped character who was flaky to begin with all that ... fun. how long do you want her to be moping over garrett, anon? idk it just doesn't sound fun to me and i can understand why she would choose a different route

god, you guys make ic shipping sound as bad as godmodding or infomodding. i don't look at pilot that often but throughout the game he looks like a fairly affectionate character. so i can see him taking this route with another person's character.

why is wankgate so quick to jump on anyone who attempts ic shipping... personally i think a lot more people should be doing ic ships because that's just a normal thing that happens irl

i hate to defend a grudgewanky anon, but the players have been pretty clear that they want them to be romantic. i think it's ic with the way erin is being played, as long as they make it realistic and don't try to cram them together too fast. characters do change in rp.

anon are you even in the game? b/c I just went through her thread tracker and there's a post in the ic announcement, a thread on an NPC inbox, threads with two different PCs (tess and jasper) and a handful of notes about it in metatext on other threads. Garrett up and vanishing isn't even remotely being ignored.

It looks like the Pilot thing has been developing for a while, too. for months even, which seems like a pretty decent amount of time to me. anon, what are you -really- mad about?
