Not only you, almost the exact same thing happened to me too. Things were nice, chatting on AIM every day and having a good time. Then suddenly some specific topic got brought up, I dunno how -- normally not the sort of topic I'd debate with someone unless I REALLY knew them well -- and when I said I'd rather not talk about it she flipped out on me for not saying I shared her point of view. Not because I necessarily disagreed but my refusal to broach the subject was, in her eyes, just as awful as that.
It was really weird and jarring and after that I kind of stopped trying to listen or be sympathetic whenever she started venting about who or whatever was pissing her off in her game at the time. That's about when the IMs stopped coming, I think.
