To expand on the details a bit: what had happened was a well-liked character was kidnapped and put in a death trap with a ticking clock by an antagonist PC. Said antagonist then started mocking the other characters and leaving a trail of clues to find this character before it was too late.
As this was going on, one of Becca's characters opened a bar.
The first plot was open to everybody and Becca was repeatedly OOCly invited to join in and just kept trying to steer people toward her bar opening. That led to her whining on Plurk about nobody paying attention to her thread and focusing on the other one instead. One of the mods tried to reach out to her which resulted in her throwing her little shit-fit and getting ejected from the game.
The best part about the whole "secret order of genessians" thing is that the mods did their best to keep the whole thing on the down-low as much as possible. Afaik they didn't really talk about it until well after the whole thing had blown up on Wankgate.
