How about you don't tag one million things in the first place, don't play in six games, and actually make an effort to time manage? The solution is not dropping everything. It's to finishing a fucking thread every once in a blue moon.
I can understand if they're super old threads that are of reasonable length, but have been dragging for a while and just really need to get capped off so that the player can focus on present happenings. But some people really just can't control themselves.
six games is way too much for anyone to keep up with unless they either stay at home almost 24/7 (due to unemployment, disability, working from home), work a job that requires they spend all their time on computers, or they're some sort of Super☆Magic Ultra Tagging Android. I have met a very small number of players in my time who somehow manage school/work and 6+ characters across four or more games AND manage to be consistent and active with all of them, but they're a rarity and everyone else is deluding themselves.
time management, man. most players who find themselves constantly dropping threads would probably do a lot better if they scaled back to maybe three games max, depending on schedule. if you can't follow your threads to completion even when your RP partners tag at a decent pace, you're taking on too much.
