my favorite is that Dean's super bisexual, guys, but daddy tried to beat the gay out of him so that's why he can't show his twoo wuv to Cas in any way but subtle manly glances
i'm glad i'm not the only one who sideeyes berry and the katamaris. the katamaris especially piss me off because any time any big plot happens, within a day there's a big post on the network from one of them explaining the whole thing and just infodumping the ooc info post. i always just pretend my character didn't see it or else pretty much every plot would be ruined.
the worst offender of that is gone too. whoever played robin and fluttershy couldn't give hooks or move a thread along to save their life. i'd give them a hook every single tag and they'd almost always come back with "haha yeah lol" or the equivalent. it was unbearable. honestly the quality has taken a marked turn for the better recently and the low-quality people still in-game are pretty easy to ignore.
I liked it, I'm just upset they left it on a cliffhanger like that. None of the actors seem to know who died either, so they have to wait until they get the script for the season primere to find out if they still have a job beyond one or two episodes /scenes. And that's pretty crappy.
in theory? sure. but games with no ac have shown that with no ac people barely play at all.
and even if that wasn't the case, learn to parent the fuck up. "person decided they had issues with AC requirements being too strict. person is now bitching about how people aren't bothering to play". i'm responding to that.
They clearly didn't think she'd done anything recent, judging by their reaction when a lot of folks handed them a treasure trove of screencaps and pastebins of her behavior among the new TFA crowd
i loved the finale! i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. but i hated the ending. i'm fully aware of how silly it is to be butthurt over a tv show, but this was the most important moment in the series and they cut half of it out. it sucks.
there is a person on my tl who never comments on my plurks but who clicks like on at least 50% of them
i keep thinking i should remove them because we haven't talked or shared a game in ages, and then... i plurk, and within an hour, they've liked it.
are they just the world's least coordinated plurk muter? are they engaged in a bizarre, silent, months-long attempt to pressure me into paying attention? i just can't tell, and it's starting to skeeve me out.
or it's someone who doesn't realize that plurk is not tumblr/facebook/twitter and that you don't need to like everything as a sign that you approve of what someone is saying, like you do on other social media sites.
Contra the anon above, while totally lacking AC is a great way to fill your game with people who want to hold a spot and talk with their friends about the cool stuff their characters are totally doing together without ever writing a tag, I think you're right that AC shouldn't be used to force activity.
AC works great for sweeping complete flakes and ensuring that people who idle out stay gone, but I think the most effective combination for promoting activity is a moderate AC + meaningful activity rewards. There has to be something to get people to play, as well as something to sweep people who don't.
