At the end of the game, everyone is scattered through time, and she ends up going to the past and meeting Yuri's father and presumably, eventually falling and love and marrying him, resulting in Yuri.

they were probably talking about when she was presumed dead at the end of season 1 and then came back at the end of season 2 to be killed off immediately.
