Yeah, it's the same as saying "No one on wg has been murdered," since obviously they would be dead. That said, people on wg could still have loved ones who were murdered/cannibalized.
it was a joke, harkening back to the before tumblr days. you sound like you don't remember the 90s and the age of white women saying "oh, i don't like black men, but that will smith is so handsome!"
bismuth wound up not being a cinnamon roll new mom and a bit of an extremist who was ready to kill gems in the war, the ep ends with her and steven fighting and she gets rebubbled
so tumblr is mad because the show isn't acknowledging communist theory or w/e and they think the crew is saying they're evil for hating their oppressors just bc a show aimed at literal 10 year olds has a message of "murder is wrong"
So am I, anon. I hated him from the moment I heard about his stupid pranks on set. The character just comes off as some teenager trying to be edgier than thou.
Movie makers need to just accept that no one will compare to Mark Hamill for going from cool likable guy to fucking creepy in 2 seconds flat.
The one and only sane person I know who used to claim they were demisexual (they stopped because of how shitty 99% of people with the label act) described it to me this way, so it's not totally an assumption.
That's what it's supposed to mean - look up any demisexual definition and it'll make a point on how it's important not that they need the emotional connection to find someone attractive or get a crush, but that they don't find people attractive at all without there being an emotional bond involved. This is why it's a form of asexuality, because ~demisexuals~ finding someone attractive or falling in love is extremely rare.
Now, this still means:
- They aren't lgbt simply by falling under this category - It's not a sexuality on its own - A hell of a lot of disgusting assumptions on how other people's relationship to attraction and sexual interest work.
You'll see plenty of them assuming others commenting on how someone is hot = they'd legit jump any mildly attractive stranger without even so much as exchanging two words with them.
You'll see them assuming having fallen in love deeply few times makes them special and everyone else wants to marry any mildly attractive stranger in a second, as though any little crush = FELL IN LOVE, as though people who get silly crushes a lot can't have few real instances of deeper romantic attraction.
You'll see them assuming others not needing a deep prolongued emotional relationship of years means they don't need emotional attachments in order to have relationships, or sex, at all, as though emotional bonds play no part on attraction whatsoever unless you're a special, extreme case demi who has ONLY EVER found their bff since childhood hot. Which is ridiculous, given they're important to most people. How many times has it happened to you that you see some actor/actress everyone is fapping over and think nothing of them and just don't get it, but later watch the show they're in and suddenly you understand? That's simply because you have a closer (if still shallow and fictional and all) bond to them now than simply "I saw a heavily edited stiff photoshoot of them once".
To bring this back to RP scenarios - the last point always reminds me of those who think playing out a ship must involve seven years of development before anyone can even hold hands, OR ELSE, as though all human beings function this way and simply cannot date or have sex more casually ever or they're some shallow sex-crazed maniac who can't ever have a deep relationship with anyone.
Dollars to donuts the ~standards~ still apply to the rest of us. Look at all the rejections and revisions that go out each and every round.
The difference is that most people won't try round after round after round and then get pissy about it. I also wouldn't rule out Usagi acting as an attack dog.
