why are people so thirsty to be in this cast??? holy shit. the show is horrible and if anything isn't about alec and magnus, clara and charlie aren't interested. i've seen them take over mutuals plurks bwfoee to screech about their little precious babbiez. if they were good players, i'd see the draw but lol.........

idk my mother was watching it and i curiously watched a few episodes because the acting was SO FUCKING BAD i had to know why she was watching it and how it was even an ongoing show, never mind how every character was like this amalgam of generic uncanny valley actors that it freaked me out a bit. they all look like barbie versions of background characters on the street.

but that fucking acting holy shit i was like borderline mortified and thought she was watching a satire or variety show where it was a joke because it HAD to be.

yes, it is. plus, iirc the books were so bad that they had to change stuff to make the show mildly viewable and the author threw a gigantic fit.

They've changed a lot tbh. But she has no creative control because she sold the screenrights for the movie to be made (where she did have creative control), which bombed and no more were done. So now they get to make the tv show however they want. At the moment she's alternating between complaining about the changes that have been made and trying to suck up to the cast so she can try to use them to promote the stuff she still makes actual money on.

It's the new teen wolf. Soon we won't be able to move for them.
