i dunno, i feel like it could go either way. on one hand, leaving it as-is, it's gonna be a sort of "worst kept secret" where a lot of people (not gonna say "everyone," since i'm sure a good chunk of the game doesn't go to wg) are gonna be side-eying the mods because they know that something fishy went down, but not really being allowed or in the place to say anything regarding it. they'd just get shut down, anyway.
on the other hand, if the mods owned up to a mistake and actually looked at something objectively, maybe releasing an apology about the situation, i would respect them a lot more. it takes a lot of guts to admit you fucked up and sure, some players might (unsure) at them and like them even less, but i think it's better than to have an air of uncertainty wafting around the game because a chunk of people know the mods done goofed and aren't gonna reverse the claims themselves.
on the proverbial third hand, dwrpers are flighty with this shit. some will remember, but the majority will forget about it or ignore that it ever happened in a few weeks, which is what i'm sure christy is banking on. it's true that dolly probably wouldn't app in even if the ban was reversed, but it's becoming less about her directly and more about mod integrity and scrutiny. if christy can get away with feeding the mods altered deets about a player, for a game she doesn't even play in, who's to say she won't do it again to some other sadsack down the line who crosses her?

she has in fact ran at least five people i know of out of rp through shit like this. christy thrives through the fact that she is so horrible in private to people and twists things so much that people are afraid to come forward and the rest forget.
