Dolly may have spearheaded the thank-you card for the CDC mods, but she wasn't the one who came up with the idea.
Because there were a lot of us locally, every few weeks there would be a meet-up IRL where we got together for food or shopping and just generally chilled. Some were in CDC, some weren't, some didn't even RP and just had friends at the group who did and came along.
One of these people was a friend who knew who one of the CDC mods. They said they'd been struggling with the sheer volume of work that came with the game taking off more suddenly than they expected. People were unhappy with some of the scrambling and changes they'd been doing at the time and the notion of a thank-you came up. The friend of the mod said it would be a good idea and they'd appreciate it: Modding sucks and no one wants to do it. Dolly agreed to ask on plurk if other players would be interested in organizing something, and people flocked to the idea.
None of the CDC mods every officially replied about the card, but Ghost did send her a PM thanking everyone involved sincerely for putting the effort together because as everyone knows: modding is thankless, sucks, and the only time people really mention you is when they have something bad to say. Ghost appreciated what everyone put together and said it meant a lot.
The wank about Dolly and the artist her OC artwork comes from (Nihilism) is also stupid because they've been meeting up IRL at comiket for years now and talk to each other through pixiv. She got permission from them after the CDC wank and they've been friends ever since.
If you want to get really technical the art for her other OCs comes from published manhwa (Korean comics), not individual artists.
