if it's in the body, i'll read it, that's a reasonable expectation. But you're treating a needle in a haystack like it's the most obvious thing in the world, and someone who doesn't want to go on that hunt isn't lazy or an idiot. they're a normal, reasonable person, which you apparently wouldn't know anything about.

i also ctrl + f before i ask faq questions. it's basic bitch levels of research to do like googling something before asking your entire plurk list. that's normal and reasonable. refusing to exert any effort in favor of being spoonfed is the height of laziness. lots of times the needle in a haystack you describe is pretty obvious if you lift a finger to do more than ask a stupid fcking question that turns out to the be the first comment you didn't bother looking at since you're so normal and reasonable and all.

as many as there were? ctrl+f takes away the need to have to read it all. if you can't even manage that level of basic searching, then you have reached a pretty high level of lazy. no one's asking you to drag a body up a mountain. it's a click of a button.

i just think you need to acknowledge that even ctrl+fing through twenty pages qualifies as special effort, even assuming someone asked your question in a way that you'd really have keywords to search. that's some tedious bullshit.

i even have done that when the faq at my game didn't have as many pages as it does now, and even then it wasn't something i think should be an expectation of anyone who wants to ask a question.
