i'm not gonna lie, it's weird and a little off-putting that you're saying that you lost, not your character. even if your character is competing icly for another character's affections, as a player you should be collaborating with the players involved (yes, including your "competition") to create an interesting story arc for everyone involved. normally i'd be sympathetic that negative cr dropped before your character could get some closure, because that really does suck, but if you're looking at it as a loss/win scenario for yourself as a player then you shouldn't be playing love triangles in the first place.
Been in this situation before, and honestly, it's one of the reasons I don't do love triangles anymore. I'm fine with a little pining over the one that got away, but when you're competing against a ghost, there's no way to win. Eventually, my character isn't going to have the patience, and look for someone who actually wants to be with them.
I was in an IC love triangle where we planned to have my character and another person's character get together as the end result, but then she suddenly sprung on me that she was going to ship her character with the other side of the triangle instead.

As a practicing occultist I make sure that no one spirit feels more attached to me than any other, as their attachment to their chosen wizard can sometimes create problems. One of the ways I manipulate my energy to this end is by not capitalizing names.

honestly, I think your best bet here, assuming you're 100% serious and this isn't some weird attempt at trolling, is just file the numbers off, swap some names around, change the pb and say it's an oc
i don't mind my friends rping more frequently with each other than me, they've got more going on, i get it

find new rp partners. A tag every couple of weeks is slow even by DW standards. You'll feel better about your writing once you've got people that want to rp with you regularly and it will take a great deal of the discomfort out of interacting with your friends so that you can enjoy them without being left hanging over tags.
