in an ideal world! there's work and anxiety involved in pming or plurking someone and being like "hey can you edit your tag, i want my character to jump in here first"
i'm a culprit, tbh. it's way easier to write the best tag you can and send it without worrying too much

well, i meant more that if you connected with the player even prior to the thing being posted. not so much editing what's already been posted, but more "hey, if your character is going to say [thing] then it's likely my character will interrupt, can we work that in?"
though i will say i have no qualms pming or plurking at someone if i have an idea or question about a thread i'm doing. it's likely i'd bring it up even after they posted it, anyway, if my character was prone to interrupting. i just hate that kind of "replying to everything" style of writing so much i'll do whatever i can to avoid it entirely.

Didn't give a shit about Anders first time i played through blind, the betrayal still felt wrenching. Went into the fandom to try and find fic/art to make sense of and sort through my feelings, discovered a hive of people who seemed to boil down Anders to cat jokes and tragic boyfriending.
Anders wrote a manifesto that fandom seems to think is dramatic and lightning charged as Luther nailing a list to a door, but I like to think it is probably more like those awkward doc/pdf links that get passed around after someone does something crazy and half of the people who read it are like "we should have seen the signs" and the other half silently agree with.
I ended up hating Anders for a long time because of the fandom (doesn't help that I loved Sebastian and thought everyone was using him as a scapegoat for general Chantry hate) but my distance from the series has left me appreciating him more as a character and liking how conflicted how he's written in game made me feel.

Uh, actually if you pay attention, they've said they've revising the sept/oct plot so I assume they will be thinking of a way to have an event go this month.
oh boo hoo. event is getting revised, but have a little self-awareness here? i don't blame the mods, obviously they wrote/planned this stuff before the hurricanes hit, and i'm glad they're taking the concerns into account.
what do you expect the mods to do? pull down their pants and pull a brand new plot out of their ass? changing a plot takes some time. have some patience.
