Just watched two friends have a childish crying passive-aggressive war, where neither talks directly to the other and just loudly announces their butthurtness in multiple public plurk rants.

When you go long stretches where nobody comments on your plurks, your memes, your plotting... it feels like you're hollering into the void and just feels crummy. Even if nobody's intentionally trying to ignore you.

Someone from my game recently friended me and now they won't stop commenting on every. Single. Post. That I make. And most of the time, they aren't even adding anything to the conversation. It's starting to feel like the written equivalent of when you mention you just went to Hawaii, and someone says they've never been, but their second cousin did, so they just blather on for ten minutes about nothing that had to do with what was initially said.

It's not just me they do this to. They comment on literally almost every post of every friend we mutually share. It's to the point where I'm wondering how much of a life they even have if they're practically on Plurk 24/7.

it's cool if murdergames are better suited for your attention span but when you regularly let my tags sit for like a week while you constantly plurk about whatever latest shiny game you've joined i'm gonna move on to people who will actually thread with me, and i won't be bending over backwards to help you get back in the loop once you remember your other games exist
