I know this is about Ana and Char but people can feel so entitled to bumming rides off people it's honestly incredible. I would occasionally offer rides to people after classes in college if they were going the same way I was, but some people came to just expect that because I offered before I would give them a ride every time, then get mad when I told them I had to go do something else that day that wasn't going their way, or would ask me to skip or be late to the thing I was going to so I could take them where they wanted to go instead.

It is as Destiny's Child said, you don't pay my automo-bills, so fuck off.

I have rl friends that take advantage of the fact I drive and always want rides. When I ask why they don't get their licenses I get "having a car is too expensive" and "what's the point when I can take the bus?" and I'm like, ok fair, but then they get huffy or whine when I can't pick their asses up.

If you don't like the bus, then suck it up and get a car and learn. To fucking drive.

Note: these people have no disabilities or illnesses. They're just lazy.

i have friends who don't drive and occasionally ask me for rides, which i occasionally do as a favor, but the first sign of huffiness or entitlement to my time and my car and i'd immediately never offer or never agree to do it again
