crosscheck. the premise was everything I should have loved about a game. compelling plot, really cool video game-esque powers mechanics, an amazing mission-based format, and both funny/cute and much more serious things to focus on.
but once I got in, the whole magic/weapons mechanics just felt way too complex. no matter how much I read the info pages it was all just so dense. it was so much. i very quickly felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information i felt like i had to know to even attempt playing, and dropped pretty quickly.

honestly you guys kind of seem like assholes. i dont know this person and obviously dont have the context but absolutely nowhere in this pastebin is RP even mentioned. not once. it's just a plurk of a poor girl absolutely flipping out over her parental figure dying. the whole "stepping over her sleeping/dead body" thing is pretty disturbing, but if this parental figure was an alcoholic and this was a regular occurrence, maybe she just had no other options or didn't know what she could do? maybe she couldn't force her mom figure to go to detox or AA or a doctor or whatever. maybe she couldn't physically lift her and put her somewhere else. maybe they had fights about it when she did try to do something! there are a lot of reasons that could have been happening and i think it's probably not as heartless on her part as everyone in this thread is trying to make it out to be.

yeah it's not her handle. it's lydia martin's username on the site. that's what she came over from tumblr with and since no one who wanted to bring her up knew her name, they just referred to her by her familiar char username, which happens here. like lasthungrywolf or sosa.

in addition to being a clueless guy (which HE was back when HE was still kevin), he would also push people into playing things they didn't really want to. he'd push lesbian ships with character that had already stated a m/f preference, and he'd create a roster of badly thought up female ocs whose only goal was to get into another character's panties. when he was in games (and yes, still a he), he'd do a lot of shitty, repetitive behavior and someone would rightly call him out for it. he'd play the 'oh my gosh, i'm so sorry, i didn't know, oh wow, i'm so sorry' card, and then turn around and do the exact same thing, oftentimes within a matter of weeks. he was talked to and asked to respect people's space/preferences, and he would still be incredibly inappropriate and acted like a general dick. (latroma reminds me a lot of him and it's why i have such a knee jerk reaction to disliking him)
the trans wank started like this because for a good long while, HE had been pushy, creepy, and unsettling with his f/f shipping, being caught actually saying "i don't know what the problem is. if i were a girl shipping these things, no one would care at all." the problem with belief around his transition is that it literally happened in the same week or month (not sure exactly) as that statement, and it was happening around a lot of other wank that was revolving around him and it was just overall a huge clusterfuck on wg over people who disliked him and had been subject to being harassed by him not believing this as real and taking it as a way to get out of being held responsible for his actions and people, like you, who had no idea what was going on but were jumping in to spam wg with TRANSERASURE IT DOESN'T MATTER IF SOMEONE'S A LYING LIAR, THEY'RE STILL TRANS.
