Nothing leaves me more butt blasted than knowing Slaine was still alive at the end.

i know you probably don't mean it the way i'm about to say it, but leaving him alive was unnecessarily cruel to the point of being somewhat disturbing.

and normally i don't like to use sort of wording because it's a tad dramatic for something that isn't even real, but some way or another, it managed to leave me feeling like that. just a sense of being sort of disturbed and wishing i'd never sat through this shitshow.

Slaine is one of the few reasons why I rewatched A/Z in the first place. I loved him and didn't give two fucks about his haters -- and his equally crazy "Slaine did nothing wrong!" stans because let's face it, he did morally questionable things, so I understand why people wouldn't like him in the first place.

The Vers side interested me despite season 2 being a clusterfuck that it turned out to be, but I'll never stop being salty in the wasted potential. I used to like Asseylum a lot until her character became a plot device, and while I don't hate him Inaho was so boring as fuck that I just don't care about him too much.

yeah. And can you imagine how distressed the other earth characters (and rayet. Especially rayet.) would be if they found out? As far as they know, he's responsible for EVERYTHING. the initial assassination plot, the war beginning, all of it. That was the story mars and earth decided on. Can you imagine how infuriating it would be to ever learn the fucker supposedly responsible for that is not only alive, but in your side's custody? Getting taken for day trips to the beach by inaho, if you want to take the last poster released as canon? Jesus.

Speaking of Rayet, I hate how as soon as she got some development with her hatred of Martians after Mazuurek got captured -- her tearful admittance to Inaho that she hated herself for being Martian got to me for some reason -- she's quickly pushed aside along with the rest of the Earth crew.

If Slaine as a Terran could represent the Vers side, why not Rayet for the Earth side instead of Inaho? I would have loved to see that.
