waited so long for a new game to parasite eve when 2 ended with such a good sequel bait, and we got a piece of shit that retconned and ignored the canon so bad that it might as well have been its own thing. i'll never not be salty about how squeenix ruined my favorite childhood characters by making them utterly unrecognizable.

Even worse was that he basically played a Kojima in turns of "SHE'S LIKE THIS FOR A REASON U GUYS" even though that reason is still poorly executed as fuck. Eve could have been a very compelling, strong character, and instead Tabata fucked her up to make her a cowering, whimpering waifu throughout most of the game.

I'll never get over their comments how they "never intended to make Aya sexy" followed by every new hypersexualized costume and battle damage they revealed. They had a Playboy bunny costume ffs, there's no way that shit wasn't intentional.
