Things before mechanized warfare were still fucked up and horrible but once it got to the point of artillery and chemical warfare it reached a level of "humans worked REALLY hard to figure out new ways to kill each other" that I don't like to dwell on while smashing barbies. Completely fictional violence doesn't bother me the same way.

I don't really like dwelling too much on violence and suffering in even a semi modern context. Too depressing.

the stupidity is honestly too much

If you can't understand why someone would find guillotining people to be easier to mentally deal with than blowing people up, when the guillotine has been banned in most countries and blowing people up still happens, they're not the one that's stupid.

Modern warfare still happens and is still depressing, burning witches and chopping off heads only happens in a few terrible places in the world now.

So maybe stop being such judgmental dicks? imo as long as someone acknowledges they should stay out of games that have things they dislike, they can dislike whatever they want.

you do realize that most of what happened in ww i is banned in modern warfare except in a few horrible places, right?

the way that war was fought is vastly different than wwii was, let alone modern warfare.

and fyi killing people for their political beliefs, which was the basis behind the terror is still prevalent today but picking and choosing what to be offended by and all that.

Yeah, it was really nice to see them ban blowing people up and shooting them with bullets en masse, and the ban on chemical weapons never gets broken by any world powers, and they sure weren't replaced in subsequent wars with things like firebombings, drones, napalm, Agent Orange, or nukes.

Bruh, worrying about war and thinking about the cruelty inherit in the human condition is what I do when I'm reading the paper not when I'm smushing Barbies together.

I've got plenty of spine, some of you anons are the weenies for getting this assmad someone thinks a specific type of murdertime isn't a fun thing to play, even though they think it's fine for others to play with it. It's immature as hell to be mad someone dislikes a thing you like even though they think it's fine that you like it. Grow up.

you're the one projecting your american jingoism all over a part of a war you literally had nothing to do with.

them personally not liking anything to do with wwi literally has nothing to do with you either, so why does it matter what their reason for it is?
