tbh the Rosalind wank below is sort of part of my issue with the game.

It's a non-smut game with aphro prompts, which seems to mean you have both people who are actually interested in plot and staying IC and interacting with the setting and organic character development-

But then you also have people that are really just here to rub their boners on other peoples' boners, and their character is mostly window dressing to achieve this, and trend toward the wildly OOC. This works in smut games as that's sort of a general assumption of the game premise, but that isn't really the case in El Nysa.

Which just makes it really... weird. And disappointing when you're excited to see a character and then you realize they're just here for the porn.

I know the setting was changing not too long ago and people felt it didn't resemble the game they loved anymore. I'm not sure what's happening now, unless it's still the same thing.

I was about to say that setting a game plot in a real world war was a valid concern, except that that's apparently the point of the entire game. While I wouldn't personally join a game with this premise, what did that anon think was going to happen? If this is a thing that bothers you (which is fine, whether it does or doesn't) don't join a game based on it. Wtf.

also if this is such a HUGE problem across multiple players, where are these other people and why aren't they saying anything? mods can't magically fix shit that makes people uncomfortable if people don't tell them what they're doing wrong. and people wonder why no one wants to mod anymore.
