for what it's worth it really is a badly animated series. idk if that's a reason to hate it necessarily but it's so fucking poorly made i can totally see people being irritated by it, and then the fandom comes along and swings that irritation right into fullblown hate

The art direction is actually really good (and if you think it isn't that's more about personal taste than objective quality) but character models can be pretty inconsistent and strange at times.

Saying that it's shitty enough to be worth dragging it constantly like some people do is kind of obsessive.

I also think the writing isn't that good, and while it has diversity going for it, that shouldn't be a reason to never criticize a show's writing.

Well, yeah, but "not that good" and "has flaws" isn't really a good reason to hate something. I mean, you can hate it all you want, but there isn't really any good reasons to be super incensed about the show.

That goes for pretty much every show out there.
