i know what interview you're talking about, and ikuhara was just joking. he didn't hate mamoru, just found him boring and wanted to write more about usagi's friendship with rei (who was promoted to best friend and closest senshi over the others in this show).
besides when ikuhara got creative control, mamoru was already fucked up.
all right but i was just talking about what i knew about ikuhara's stance since i don't know the other guy's. i don't really believe he was joking personally but i also don't care enough to make thus the hill i die on
