i don't think anyone is mad so much as annoyed that eski is clearly plugging her own post here and summoning a bunch of people to her defense when it wasn't even necessary as almost everyone was in agreement that OP was reaching with their observations

which really weren't all that offensive to begin with, just dumb, but you had people screeching OMG WTF HOLY SHIT YOU'RE SO INSANE

i get that we're thirsty for wank but this was making mountains out of molehills so yeah eski and her friends should probably chill out tbh

don't forget the friend was going through her mother dying at the time

not for nothing anon but this whole thread started when it was pretty late where eski lives. since the post went up, she only linked it once on discord and her plurk. i don't think she's stupid enough to link her own post on wankgate either.

i think she made her post and some jigoku whiteknight linked it to defend the game's honor. instead they ended up dragging an unrelated player on wg and summoning a bunch of whiteknights that made her and the game look bad.

please remember that "hi x" on wankgate is wrong 99% of the time and you are not the exception

i'm pretty sure this is the same jigokucho whiteknight who has been jumping down people's throats for bringing up issues with the game. "maybe you should be asking different questions?" is the same condescending tone they used to call people out for not reading.

at this point it doesn't matter if eski was involved or not, the game (and by extension the player) looks bad because a few anons decided that frothing at the mouth over a nonissue was a good idea. i guarantee you nobody would've cared otherwise if they laid off and left it alone.

This. I admittedly rolled my eyes a little at the comment but acting like this person was RP Hitler for suggesting that maybe a player should've given the mods a heads up is kind of ridiculous. I don't think it would've blown up like it did if the tone wasn't disproportionately incendiary.

Reactions like "are you genuinely insane" and "what the fuck" are a little extreme for what was actually posted, yes. I'd also concur that "it was a good post by a good player and you should feel bad for saying it was bad" was not a point that needed to be made over and over again.
