have you never been in a game with mod npcs, anon?

obscure af canon so name-dropping would give me away, but while playing one character i had such a bad case of "no one wants to tag me so i won't tag out/make any top levels for them to tag me" with castmates. these types of people end up making their own self fulfilling prophecy with their "woe is me" bullshit.

i was excited for castmates at the time but they were some needy mfs, one of them ranted about how i don't help them get cr even though i made efforts to extend my shared cr to them, they just never tagged out if i wasnt constantly holding their fucking hand through the game.

Not for nothing but plenty of people went to Tumblr during the great migration/when lj started to fall apart before dw became a thing so it would surprise me at all if there are people who subscribed to the Tumblr crowd rhetoric during that time and are back now because journal RP is just nicer/what they know/whatever the case may be. We're lucky that the cases of these people don't crop up much but they definitely exist.

I actually did! And they criticized me for the response I sent to the cast member (which admittedly wasn't the best worded thing I've ever written but I was I think understandably upset by their insinuations) and said I was being a baby. So double bullet dodged.

a lot of the people I see doing it I sympathize because playing out the intro stuff can be tedious
and also a lot of the people I see doing it take six weeks to get halfway through a thread so like yeah intro stuff must be EXTRA tedious if that's the pace you go at

I swore off games because of it

I play my FEs on memes and that's it... Too nervous to try and join a game because of either casts being weird or because of the reputation of them in games. It's sad because I love my femblems with all my heart but I don't have the energy to deal with the nonsense lol.
