i absolutely see my main RP character as having at least dabbled in piss kink but i cannot bring myself to write it

i feel bad, i know several people who would probably want to play that out but i'm like ehhh handwave territory for me :( but i would not say "ew that's not my kink therefore he'd never do it" nah he absolutely has at least tried it.

but otherwise it's mostly overlap with my own interests because duh

to be fair piss kink was something i thought i would have no enjoyment in writing but when i gave it a shot i had more fun than i thought. my google search history has, hilariously, "what is the appeal of piss kink" in there somewhere. the most common responses were the sensation of fullness, loss of self-control, humiliation. some of the other responses veered more on the appeal of it being "dirty" and taboo, or leaned more on marking and dominance. so i just focused on the parts i thought sounded fun and worked for the character/scene we were going for and it ended up being way more fun to write than i anticipated.

i'm not about to put it in any of my favorite/yes columns, but i do have a hover note over it now that i'm open to it, pending discussion first. i'd probably prefer to handwave it if the other person wanted to focus on the smell/dirtiness/taboo-ness of it (some of the google responses angling on those aspects definitely had an overlap with like, scat and vomit fetish appeal), but if my writing partner wanted to focus on other aspects like marking, humiliation, and orgasm denial that is more adjacent to bdsm (especially for penis bearers because guys can't pee until they ejaculate first) i'd be more down for that.

It was years and years ago, but I think I remember it being taught that way in sex ed or health. Not entirely accurate from my experience but I can see why anons would think that way.

has no one seen those movies where guys wake up with an erection and pee on themselves? 40 year old virgin, anyone? it's a funny thing to laugh at because it's true. you can definitely pee with an erection, but it's just more difficult to do because you're peeing up. if you have to pee and you're having sex and about to ejaculate, your bladder sphincter closes off to allow for ejactulate/semen before it will let you pee.

and for the anon making a googly eyed comment below, because i'm a pedant, there are multiple 'sphincters' in the body. it's a term for a ring of muscle that closes off around something. there's a sphincter up near your diaphragm/stomach. sphincter is not unilaterally owned by the anus.

(sorry, but i feel i have to chime in on this because so many people don't know basic biology about their own bodies: having to discuss with grown adults that there's three holes down there for women and two for men and that you don't piss out your vagina and you can't 'hold in' your period. it's frustrating.)

yeah there's obviously a large window of time between "being hard" and still being able to pee. guys get boners in the mornings, for all kinds of random reasons unrelated to sex.

in the context of writing sex and kink i think it should have been obvious ayrt was referring to the smaller window right before ejaculation that a guy can't pee

did an informal poll with some penis bearers about pissing with erections. there were four replies and none of them were "i can't." there was one "yes i can pee with a hard on" and three "yes i can pee with a hard on if you really motivate me."

i got away with asking a room full of men about their penis activities once because i have known them for years and we are all good friends. im not going back and asking them a penis question that intimate, especially when you can just say "you can set up a BDSM situation where orgasm/piss denial is an element" rather than blanket saying "all penis bearers have this biological feature."
