they used to be part of a ljrp clique that referred to themselves as the 'hocave'

i don't even remember what exactly happened because this is all from literally over ten years ago but there was consistent drama for years before they all finally turned on themselves and imploded

hocave was a toxic part of lj rp that threatened people, stalked players, and were the epitome of everything wrong with this hobby and they delighted in being awful people.

Nothing to do with the new host actually, they just blocked the scraper bots separately to control the impact of traffic on the site!

i'm old enough to have been there and "threatened people and stalked players" is not true lol. they were assholes and froze people out they didn't like but were never at that level. a lot of the wank about some of those cliques wouldn't even fly now because they were fights about them bullying people who used the n-word

most of them don't rp anymore or have grown up. we were all idiot post-teens in the lj days.
