this is a pet peeve about plurk in general, or perhaps the ooc community in general? i just never find myself with the over-the-top, keysmashing excitement that others flood plurks with when plotting or just screeching about their blorbos.

sure i enjoy taking about characters, and i'd love to connect about what we think makes our characters tick, or what scenarios would be interesting to play out between them, i just feel like there's a sort of... immaturity prevalent in the dwrp playerbase that i can't match the energy of. the "[CHARACTER NAME] NO!!! ajbdnsbk!!!!!" responses are not something i want to have to put myself through just to try and fit in.

i'm really not trying to sound condescending or holier-than-thou, it's just something i've struggled with whenever i try to integrate into the community, and an anonymous thread for pet peeves seems to be a somewhat acceptable place to get it off my chest.

I know we're not supposed to wank on games that aren't even made yet but ... Having a literal magic abortion river (I know that's not all of what it's supposed to do) in your proposed D/s sex game isn't the best look. Not to mention that pregnancy is going to be allowed but the baby will never age so is perpetually a newborn forever. You know, that independent age where parents can go out and do whatever all the time. As of a perpetual newborn won't wreck CR or become a drama dispenser.
