why exactly is the tdm open to the public, when reserves and apps are only open to those who've friended the mod?

do people get invites if they play on the tdm and everyone likes them? is the tdm like game tryouts to see who gets judged as worthy to join? i'm confused

no and no. it's only open to people on the mod's plurk list period. i don't get why the tdm is public either and the mod is even encouraging anyone to post.

I had someone in Flist admitting they were using AI to reply to my stuff.

My character's gender kept switching to 'She' (because het is the norm? IDK), skin color was never consistent and the thread was going all over the place without much regard to what I wrote.

AI rp may exist but it sucks so bad people WILL notice if you're using character.ai to write your replies, anon. Go do your tags.

for fun? i see plenty of people on there who know they can't app but they enjoy the setting.

the tdm also has to be open to the public to allow non-member journals to post on it. it's normal for even private games to use a mod plurk to link to new posts. it's not the mod's fault that players decide to replurk it.

i get the frustration but these are all normal things to happen in dwrp

i see that happen and people still complain about it even though players have the right to be able to make commentary plurks if they want. dwrp has a huge issue with jealousy and players feeling entitled imho. like some people seem to genuinely think if you're having fun in a game they can't join you shouldn't be allowed to talk about it on your own plurk.

i think that's a different thing tho. people making commentary plurks because they have other people from their game in their plurks is understandable.

mods making public plurks for their private games (and sometimes even asking dwrp to replurk) despite not opening invites outside mod friends is weird.

Whatever. I don't have a horse in this race besides thinking she's an asshole. But I've heard the stories of her doing this to enough different people that I know OP is telling the truth, so I'll do it.

It's Alisa/symbological on plurk. The details are all in private discord chats so they'll never come out publicly until one of her friends turns on her, as is usually the case around here.

If you're in the game then you know why it's a bad idea to go to those mods about her. OP, I'm sorry to say but you might just have to drop. I've never once seen a modteam do the right thing when one of their friends is a wanker.

if you genuinely can't trust the mods not to protect a friend as nasty as this from consequences, to the point of closing their eyes to harassment, to me that's definitely cause to drop.

but if you want a slightly more optimistic approach, i would see about arranging for multiple reports from a mix of sources, ideally none of whom are yourself directly. safety in numbers, plus harder to ignore multiple concerned parties.

the context there is that anon kicked off the conversion by insulting the aerith player, so i can see why anons would jump to that conclusion
