because honestly that whole weird tangent on rpa from a few expi anons eager to paint anyone who badmouthed the game as a final fantasy left a pretty bad taste in my mouth

the context there is that anon kicked off the conversion by insulting the aerith player, so i can see why anons would jump to that conclusion

except that was after and on wg

rpa was a few people mentioning that they felt expiation was cliquey, which immediately led to accusations that the complaints must be coming from the final fantasies, who never tag out and only write inbox smut

which by itself isn't that noteworthy, but then they started dropping deets about the mods changing ac just to make it harder for that cast (but didn't bother to put this change in the rules) and made it clear they were harboring a grudge over a plurk someone in that cast made months ago, and the whole situation sure made the mods and whoever was dropping those deets come out looking pretty iffy
