jade has a history of getting upset over criticism and being perceived poorly. she's not really any better in terms of behavior than tifa or mal, just maybe better at hiding it. (although based off the amount of times she admits to venting in this post, then who knows).

either she needs to own her shit or do as she says and genuinely, actually curate her online spaces better. if rp is stressing her out or it's a bad situation, leave it. don't drag it out for 8+ months for, what, exactly?

saying that the town NPCs won't die and then suddenly deciding Wanda killed them and she needs to stand IC trial is pretty egregious and if jade had just posted that and some of the condescending DMs I think people would be more on her side

The issue isn't that Wanda got consequences for killing NPCs, it's that the NPCs weren't supposed to die which was explicitly laid out between jade and the mods and the mods changed that on jade as a surprise

the history of who this player was really doesn't justify the mods accusing her of making her character ICly unpalatable by their standards because maybe she's more sensitive OOCly at the time due to the anniversary of a death of a loved one....

there's no excuse in any world for bringing in the death of someone's loved one into an rp related problem. that's so fucked up.

I was confused because frankly, killing and getting killed by NPCs and then having a trial about it is a normal thing in game and something people actively choose for character development or to get ic consequences to play out.

im not trying to play devils advocate, im just overwhelmed with the length of her jeremaiad here. i see her saying in the 2023-10-02 comment that wanda might tuck the townsfolk away somewhere safe, but the mods don't seem to respond to the safety piece of it, so im unsure if the mods actually committed to wanda not hurting anyone somewhere else.

either way, imo it's mediocre modding (if they missed it) or bad modding (if they acknowledged it somewhere but then reneged) -- but it also seems really dumb on her part to be like, wanda's gonna go crazy corrupted but oh no actually nothing bad will happen while this ridiculously superpowered witch is going insane in a horror event.

did you actually read the screencaps anon? all they said about it was that they were aware that she was going through a hard time, jade is the one who is saying that they made it about the death when the pm reads to me like they were handling the issue and then separately acknowledged at the end that she might not be in a good place

1. again, they are rp mods. hers, or anyone's, RL problems are not their fucking concern in any capacity unless they need an emergency hiatus.
2. they absolutely said that maybe her anniversary of a loved one - her own mother - may be a contributing factor. so yes, they are saying maybe her OOC RL struggles are making were adding to her bad rp feels. also, they were on her plurk and she said she talked about this on plurk. they weren't unaware of what the rl struggle was. they knew. and they brought it up anyway.

you can fuck right off with defending mods bring up the death of someone's mother in relation to rp in any way, shape, or form. especially when they initiated this conversation. not her.
