if this is about what i think it is, the issue isn’t splitting across two different threads. it’s that once memes like fibber hit captcha, you have to keep filling out the captcha and tag in that post vs being able to move to a different spot (like an inbox or an overflow). if you do move to another spot, then the comment count starts over and none of what you did before counts. this wasn’t clearly laid out in the rules before like 8 months ago so a lot of people got screwed.

but the mods did reword the rules to make that more clear.

Honest question but is captcha really that much of a problem not to fill it out for a few comments if you need/want that for ac? I never thought so and apparently none of us here care since we keep using it to keep talking here so why not just fill it out and get ac?

it's not and if you're (general) upset about having to fill out captcha on a meme at the end of the month to make ac (because otherwise you'd just move the thread to an inbox like the total lack of a big deal it is), then you need to try tagging in the rest of the month.
