People in this game are so pants on head stupid about this fucking meme. They act like it's the most important event to happen all year.

It's supposed to be SIX pictures but people start preparing almost a month in advance, pre-planning on plurk to the extent they might as well have already written their damn threads, and some players are talking about how they're going to post more than two dozen pictures, because their personal blorbo is just that important, I guess.

The whole damn game needs to learn to follow the rules, how to edit, and how to exercise some god damn moderation. It's a cute silly pictures misfire meme, not the fucking holy grail.

can't even load the fibber meme on a computer or mobile because the image load is too big and it crashes. my internet isn't even that shitty. why don't the mods actually enforce the 6 images per character rule?

it's not loading correctly because the fibber code itself is fucked and people don't understand that many websites these days strangle your internet connection when you hotlink images instead of uploading them elsewhere

if this is about what i think it is, the issue isn’t splitting across two different threads. it’s that once memes like fibber hit captcha, you have to keep filling out the captcha and tag in that post vs being able to move to a different spot (like an inbox or an overflow). if you do move to another spot, then the comment count starts over and none of what you did before counts. this wasn’t clearly laid out in the rules before like 8 months ago so a lot of people got screwed.

but the mods did reword the rules to make that more clear.

People whining about not getting to use proofs split across multiple posts need to put themselves in the place of doing AC. Does link1 and link2 add up to 10 comments from X character all posted within a specific range of dates? Does link3 and link4 add up to 10 comments from Y character? So on and so forth.

And maybe think twice when whining about what counts for AC if you can't reliably make it, or if you're the type that's barely even active in your capped cast.
