wait really??? oh :( i was hoping the tdm would be posted much earlier

i had her on my plurk list for a bit

and yeah she complained about other rpers plenty. then deleted the plurks.

would also @ people several times a *day* asking for a tag or a thread, including me. i ended up reporting it to the mods of our shared game because i had so many stupid plurk notif emails over blue asking for tags while i was on vacation and hiatus'd. and yes i told blue to their face to stop and that i would rp again after i got home.

all that did was slow it for like a day or two.

... what kind of logic is that? i used to be in labyrinthum (which also required invites) and they would put the tdm up two weeks before invites opened so that people who tdmed had time to find someone to get an invite from. i thought that was how invite-only games normally worked?

i am internally screaming at you to just TELL ME what i did so wrong that our friendship ended like this

getting a little bit annoyed with this one person who seems to have a 'running gag' of their character's sole tag to my and other tls be 'walks in, glances at other character in the dorm doing something else, and then lays down to go to sleep without any other meaningful interaction.' it's not cute or funny as they seem to think it is and the novelty of this kind of tag wore off immediately after the first time they did it.

i think it ties into them being one of these people who has an obsession with proving how much of a 'lovable loser' their character is, with emphasis on the loser part, but i'm not sure what this proves other than their character is capable of breathing and blinking like anyone else with a brain.

it's the logic if they have enough players and aren't that interested in an influx of new ones. this isn't rocket science, guys.

I'm pretty sure its a feature not a bug.

still worth doing the tdm if you’re interested and want an invite. it might take a while but a waitlist means you want to get on it and have your place in queue sooner rather than later. i have applied for queue games before and the best time to try to get in line is now rather than later. you can always leave the line if you lose interest but if you join the line later on then you’re just gonna be further back than if you went for it initially despite knowing you wouldn’t immediately get in.

Seconding that is fucking weird.

But I would also find it weird irl. like we don't have to be besties, but be more of a person. how aren't you more bored?

this. they might update it next time (the mods like to test things first before they change anything), but for now i think it's best to just try for the tdm and see if you can get an invite that way. there are a few players (myself included) who already expressed that they'll be giving it to people they find fun in the tdm and aren't particularly looking for castmates.

some people offered their invites on plurk already but many are holding off until the tdm happens.

i don't want more castmates and i don't even tag some characters from canons i recognize because i'm not into them. i had characters in mind from the last round to invite that were from canons i do not recognize because they were fun to tag, which is the most important thing.

maybe consider that the main issue is your own mindset?
