i would refuse to play in any future game they mod on principle

this is the exact same thing that happened with the sims 4. they developed it with live service in mind but the dumpster fire of the new simcity flop meant they had to quickly pivot. the game came out underbaked and is still pretty divisive to this day - the only reason it’s still selling gangbangers is because there is no other game like it.

i can’t believe EA didn’t learn a single thing ten years later.

i am a huge flake and i was recently diagnosed with adhd. being on meds has helped a lot but i also still need to work on personal discipline and habits.

one thing that was becoming a bigger issue was that while i had plenty of plans and ideas for improving myself and my life, actually applying myself to it was a physical challenge. and i mean it literally - if it wasn’t giving me the dopamine hit, i could basically feel myself shutting down and unable to pay attention. the same thing happened when i was doing the ADHD test actually - i did fine during the quick responses part, but once things slowed down i felt myself feeling falling asleep because i was “bored.” its how i also learned that fatigue can present itself in adhd and it’s not just the stereotypical hyperactive kid bouncing off the walls.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the tattoos, which definitely was a bit more disturbing. The only ones I remembered her getting were Detective Loki ones, which yeah was weird, but people get tattoos their fav characters have all the time. I'm actually glad I didn't know her during the 'wizard nazi fangirl' phase, that would have been a giant NOPE from me. At least obsessing over an actor with a pretty face is a lot healthier relatively speaking.

It's really none of my business but is she loaded and just spending her money the she wants or is one of those people who has driven themselves into poverty thanks to their obsession? None of the stuff she ever bought or those tats were cheap.

afaik, they're out of the rp scene, or at least the modding scene. i'd be more inclined to burnbook them if they weren't, but yeah, it happened in a lot of earlier to the move from lj to dw games, so i doubt i'm the only one with stories of overinvested mods dragging people trying to ask for a hiatus because of some bullshit.

it sounds like having read it they're just saying that they've had people start horny threads with them in response to someone who keeps insisting tfln isn't about drunken horny threads.

i regularly post to tfln. it is 80% horny shit. that isn't a good or bad thing, its just a fact. i'm very curious about this tav player and their insistence that most of tfln isn't horny stuff?

actually tbh the source thread of that nonsense was someone pointing out tfln has a lot of ooc / mostly horny threads. i think the tav player feels called out, backreading to that.

it was somebody having a tantrum about tfln is bad because it's ooc because horny, and people said you don't have to be horny on tfln, and hornyshame anon refused to accept that tfln isn't an obligatory horny meme for the rest of the comments which also got stupid but not *as* stupid as the anon angry at stupid sexy tfln

what they're saying isn't as funny as the fact that they continue saying it over and over without any understanding that the solution to their problem is very simple actually

they never said it was a bad thing, they just seemed confused about how other people found all these not horny threads.

if you mean the solution of choosing not horny texts they pointed out they tried that. it doesn't stop some people, I've had the same issue and drop those threads. no big deal but I get where they're coming from

i feel like that's a very canon-dependent thing because i've never had that happen to any of my characters when i picked a selection of prompts that weren't horny.

they seemed stupid. you get not horny threads by making your tags not horny.

you can do that but still get horny tags. personal experience here but i have had people on tfln do the horny thing when my starters aren't and my tags to them aren't. i just drop the threads when that happens and focus on other ones but it's fucking stupid to claim it's anyone's fault for what randos on bakerstreet tag them with. unless we are suddenly claiming every unwanted tag on bakerstreet was actually the fault of whoever topleveled and they should have not worn a short skirt or something lest idk, made by me see them.

it's canon dependent imo, yeah, because it depends on the playerbase of the canon. there's definitely a group who leans into the sexual side (horny sounds so high school of us why are we using it) of tfln more than any other part of it. which is fine but still weird so many people are denying it happens at all.

it's not every thread but it's definitely common on tfln.

I agree with them, I see a ton of smut on TFLN. Why is there suddenly an influx of people claiming that isn't a major thing on TFLN?
