If we're going to assume this person isn't saying picrew is AI, and it's still unethical to use picrew then it's still a dumbass opinion and you're a dumbass for trying to agree with it.

A picrew is drawn by the artist, who made it specifically for people to use, save and share the images. It would be a shitty move if someone were to remove the signature or not credit the artist if they ask for it, but that's it. It's nowhere on the level of generative AI.

yeah individual picrews are created and uploaded by the artists themselves. picrew is more like a database. op is acting like The Picrew.com gathered up a bunch of art and cut it up into doll pieces to upload into their dollmaker

fun fact: a lot of really good picrews i used to rely on got taken down back when nfts were still hype, because the tech bros were stealing them and using them to generate free nfts to sell :(
