they're both

they're also "that kroker" and "that ten", they are infamous for cosplaying as their characters for job interviews and being painfully socially awkward. their tags are almost unreadable and don't make sense

they're also the kind of player who asks mods stupid obvious questions all the time and need to have the most basic mechanics explained to them

tbh it sounds like a nothingburger that gets repeated because it sounds wild. you hear "cosplaying as their characters for job interviews" and you picture a hiring manager sitting at a desk across from a guy dressed up as cloud, but if it was crocker specifically then that's just wearing a dress shirt and a tie.

it was years ago and only posted on her plurk so it's probably long gone. i do remember she was dressed as ten though which is just a suit and sneakers. i think it was also for a job as an english teacher which is funny considering her lack of reading comprehension?

Yeah, there's a big difference between coming into a job interview in Jedi robes or a Lord of the Rings Elf ensemble and something more subtle like that. When we had an unofficial Dr. Who day at my job one year, the only way I could tell the Ten cosplayers apart from any other patron was honestly the hair and occasional coat, and most of my coworkers didn't even realize they WERE cosplayers until I pointed it out.

Is it eccentric bordering on being weird and maybe not in the best taste for a job interview? Probably, though if it gives you a confidence boost when you're nervous I could see some people doing it. But it's a lot different to be in a suit or dress shirt and tie than going in your Final Fantasy or Star Trek getups.

it was the 10th doctor. just an ill-fitting suit. it wasn't a good look because the suit wasn't tailored properly but it really is a big pile of whatever of a story.
